Congress Advances Legislation to Designate the Museum a National Historic Landmark: Video Testimony
The United States Senate unanimously approved legislation to designate America’s National Churchill Museum as a National Historic Landmark. Companion legislation is currently under consideration in the U.S. House of Representatives and is expected to be taken up ahead of the 80th anniversary of Winston Churchill’s “The Sinews of Peace” address—commonly known as the “Iron Curtain” speech—in March 2025.
