The Central Missouri Postal Customer Council and the Postmaster of the U.S. Post Office in Fulton will unveil the new Medal of Honor stamp today at 11:30 a.m. on the Latshaw Plaza at the campus of Westminster College.  

Alternative location in case of rain is inside the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Aldermanbury.

David Martin, United States Postal Service Gateway District Manager, and Kit Freudenberg, Interim Executive Director of the National Churchill Museum, will speak at the ceremony.

Those arriving at 10 a.m. will have the opportunity to tour the special exhibit from the Smithsonian Institution that is currently on display in the Museum entitled “Mail Call.”

The history of America’s military postal system and how the military and postal service have combined forces to provide this vital link to home for American troops, even under challenging and sometimes extreme circumstances, unfolds in the exhibition,  “Mail Call.”
