Luetkemeyer to Mark Opening of Smithsonian Institution Exhibit at National Churchill Museum

 

Columbia, Feb 8 -

As part of his commitment to America's National Churchill Museum, U.S. Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer (MO-9) on Friday, February 10, will participate in a public ceremony marking the first ever Smithsonian Institution exhibition at the museum on the campus of Westminster College in Fulton. The event begins at 4:30 p.m.

"The Way We Work" exhibit shares the stories of how work became a central element in American culture and the many changes affecting the workforce and the work environment over the past 100 years. The exhibit contains a local section, The Kingdom at Work, which was led by the Kingdom of Callaway Historical Society and focuses on the history of work in Callaway County and the surrounding area.
