Richard Toye will deliver the 2015 Kemper Lecture, entitled "Winston Churchill and the Golden Age of Journalism," during the Museum's Churchill Weekend on March 7 and 8. Currently a Professor of Modern History at the University of Exeter (UK), he earlier taught at the universities of Manchester and Cambridge.

Prof. Toye's books on Churchill are LLoyd George and Churchill: Rivals for Greatness (2007); Churchill's Empire: The World That Made Him and the World He Made (2010); and The Roar of the Lion: The Untold Story of Churchill's World War II Speeches (2013). He contributes regularly to the Imperial and Global Forum blog and appears on television and radio.
